Narrative Structure

• This documentary has a closed narrative structure and is also a non linear documentary

Shot types

• Interviewees are positioned to the right with writing on the bottom left hand side

• Sometimes this is reversed and the interviewees are positioned on the left and the writing is on the bottom left

Editing

• Editing is used within the documentary and this cuts out the interviewer asking the questions and the audience just hear the answers

• There are basic straight cuts used throughout

• Voiceover – standard English (American)

• Music is used at times to show how dramatic at situation is that they are talking about

Graphics

• There are graphics used to show peoples names and job roles

• Credits are used at the end of the documentary and are used in the traditional way
