SHOOTING SCRIPT

1. Starts with a long, diagonal shot of actor – Malik sleeping on his bed in his room (Duration 3 seconds).2. With the use of the fade in, fade out effect we then go to a close-up of Malik’s face awakening from his sleep (Duration 2 seconds).3. Fades to half body shot (cuts out from the knees down) of Malik getting out of bed, rubbing his face and stretching (Duration 4 seconds).4. Mid-shot to close-up of character walking to bathroom, still rubbing his face/yawning (Duration 3 seconds). 5. Fades in to Malik in the bathroom (medium shot) with his back to the camera washing his mouth (Duration 4 seconds)6. Fades to image of the shower – medium shot (Malik showering) (Duration 3 seconds)7. Fades in to Malik dressing up and fixing his clothes to go downstairs to start the day in a medium shot (Duration 19 seconds)8. Cuts to Malik entering the kitchen with a medium shot, then moves to a long shot showing him putting on his footwear (Duration 16 seconds)9. Cuts to Malik looking in his fridge with the use of the medium shot – shooting from behind (Duration 6 seconds)10. Cuts to medium shot of Malik walking to the door ready to leave, as he reaches the door the camera moves to a long shot capturing a full body shot (Duration 12 seconds)11. Cuts to a medium shot of Malik’s hand shutting the door (Duration 2 seconds)12. Malik walks down his front porch as he begins his journey – medium shot (Duration 6 seconds)13. Cuts to Malik in the middle of the street looking around to see where he is going – medium shot (Duration 3 seconds) 14. Fade in, fade out of Malik crossing the road, camera is position from the other side of the road, gives effect as Malik crosses the road he comes closer to screen. Long shot (Duration 9 seconds)19. Point of view shot/medium shot of the shop name “POST OFFICE”. Scans across to get the name of the store (Duration 6 seconds)20. Cuts back to close up of Malik’s hand showing the money (Duration 5 seconds)21. Cuts to close up of Malik’s face showing his despair of having a minimal amount of money to buy food. (Duration 3 seconds) 22. Fade out, fade in of Malik’s face after leaving the shop (Duration 3 seconds)23. Cuts to close up of the Snickers product in Malik’s hand (Duration 2 seconds)24. Medium shot of Malik’s face (in distress) opening the Snickers product and begins to eat it, reacts positively and does the run and jump in celebration (Duration 12 seconds)
