SHOP FOR AN ANGEL Shop for an Angel is a FamilyForward holiday project aimed at filling the void felt by many of our client children during the holiday season. Friends come together to provide toys and gifts for over 800 kids, brightening their holidays. SHOP FOR A TEEN ANGEL Shop for a Teen Angel is a FamilyForward holiday project that pairs teens in our foster care program with donors who provide them with a new outfit. Clothing is a big deal for teenagers. However, teens in foster care receive limited funds for clothes barely covering basic needs, especially for growing teens who may change sizes several times in a year. SHOP FOR A CHILDREN’S HOME ANGELFamilyForward Children’s Homes (located in Brentwood and St. Charles) provide residential and respite care for non-ambulatory children ages 0-21 with developmental disabilities and significant medical needs. Shop for a Children’s Home Angel is a FamilyForward holiday project that provides personal care items and a variety of tools and toys to help the children in our residential care communicate, engage and play. Because of their unique abilities, most children function at an earlier developmental stage than their age would imply. Gift wishes have been thoughtfully selected by each child’s therapist or teacher to help them reach their goals.
