GLASS TAKES SHAPE Glassblowers contemplate their creations. They study historical glass samples and review illustrations in books. They are meticulous in their design and development, under-standing the origins and artistry of glassmaking.
The Henry Ford’s glassblowers think about the inherent connection we have with objects and look to tech-niques once practiced to inspire the creation of a decanter set anew. This year's President's Pick: a decorative and sturdy interpretation of glass carefully blown into a mold to create a distinctive shape and pattern.
