Shotmed Engineering Co. SAE was established in 1948 by Mr.

Shoukri Salama and has grown to become an integral player in the

development of Egyptian industries.

Shotmed Engineering offers complete design, fabrication and erection

packages for the following sectors:

Activities & Capabilities

We offer our clients with complete services including design, detailing,

procurement, fabrication, construction management and erection for grain

storage silos, material handling equipment, tanks, steel structures, and

mechanical equipment. Shotmed also engineers the dismantling, transportation,

upgrading, commissioning and maintenance of used industrial factories retrofitted

to meet the clients needs.

Design & Engineering

Shotmed’s design and engineering department is the foundation of the company.

It combines experience with technical expertise to handle design of a wide

variety of steel products. The team is equipped and trained with various drafting

and design software including SAP2000, ETABS, Inventor, AUTOCAD, and

Tekla.

Designers and draftsman are fluent in applying most internationally accepted

design, and material/construction codes including DIN, API-650, API-620,

AWWA, AWS, AISC, CS-S16, etc.

Cooperation and collaboration are maintained between sales, design,

procurement, and manufacturing to ensure that design and fabrication

requirements are met while incorporating client’s needs to achieve economical

solutions.

For over 50 years Shotmed Engineering has provided its clients with in house

fabrication to meet the ever-changing requirements of today’s construction

market.

Shotmed’s fabrication facility delivers high quality products on a prompt and

continuous basis. The facility contains over 70,000 sqm of fabrication and

storage areas equiped with equipment, cranes and over 1000 highly qualified

engineers, technicians, and highly skilled workers.

techniques that can save time and money for our clients. Over the years we have

gained experience in completing both large and small scale projects, which has

made Shotmed an industry leader in erection for the power, storage,

petrochemical, industrial, chemical, desalination, refinery, and food-processing

industries.

Shotmed’s recent investment in erection equipment has increased our capability

of handling a large number of complex projects while still providing customer

satisfaction, quality and safety.

Equipment & transport services is another activity offered by Shotmed to meet

the industries ever-growing needs by providing carnage, lifting, and

transportation services across Egypt.

Our recent purchase of 5 – 45 Ton telescopic cranes, forklifts, and heavy

vehicles and our latest venture into manufacturing of semi-trailers has further

developed our ability to provide our clients with service distinction.
