There was even a sleep-in option for those who wanted to support Girl Scouts, but enjoy their warm, cozy beds. Girl Scouts and community members of all ages ran, walked and strolled through the streets of Emporia to support the premier leadership organization for girls—Girl Scouts! Every three years, delegates and visitors gather to conduct the business of the National Council of the Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA). This year’s convention, held in Houston, November 10-13, will launch the next 100 years of Girl Scouting. This will be a convention you will not want to miss.
