Joseph “Jake” DeLeers began building homes in 1945. It did not take long for homes built by DeLeers to gain the reputation for precise construction, with “no corners cut and no excuses given.” That dedication to quality workmanship inspired Jake’s son, Jerry, to carry on the tradition of quality, ethics and service. Bringing growth to the company, Jerry began seeking commercial construction

opportunities along with introducing DeLeers Paint Division and DeLeers Service Division to the company.

Today “the boys” Paul, Jim, Tom and John operate DeLeers Construction, Inc. in its third generation with the help of over 100 employees. The company is still growing today as the boys introduce Joseph A. Interiors, a casework, millwork, retail, and residential cabinetry firm.

This custom home illustrates the collaborative efforts of designer, builder, subcontractors and homeowner, resulting in a timeless representation of quality craftsmanship and design.

The inspiration for the shingled home are the classic summer residences scattered along the Eastern Seaboard. An exterior consisting of cedar shingle roofing, James Hardie shake siding and Door County

limestone combine to create a timeless coastal aesthetic. The multi-tiered terrace extends the living space to the outdoors for maximum enjoyment of the Horseshoe Bay experience.

The interior spaces feature classic architectural elements such as paneled cased openings, transom windows, beadboard ceilings and custom white cabinetry and millwork. The home’s color palette is intended to capture the hues of the surrounding natural beauty; muted neutrals of taupe and gray blend with vibrant jewel tones, resulting in a timeless

yet updated coastal chic décor. Wide plank, bleached white oak floors, custom tile and stone installations and soaring beamed cathedral ceilings are other unique architectural elements to take notice of as you tour the 7500+ square foot home.
