    Testsforenclosuresandshower/steampanelsshallbeconductedoncompleteshower/steampanelorenclosureassemblies,unlessotherwisespecifiedinthetestprocedure.

    5.2 LoadTestsforEnclosures5.2.1 LoadTestforCompleteEnclosures5.2.1.1 TestProcedure

    Theloadtestforcompleteenclosuresshallbeconductedasfollows:(a) Installthetestspecimeninaccordancewiththemanufacturersinstallationinstructions.(b) Applyahorizontalforceof66722N(1505lbf)toeachareawhereafittingcouldbe

    gripped.Note:Whenthetestspecimendoesnothavefactorysuppliedfittings,usesupplyfittingsthatcomplywithASMEA112.18.1/CSAB125.1forconductingthetest.

    (c) Holdtheloadfor1min.5.2.1.2 PerformanceRequirements

    Theloadtestforshower/steampanelsshallbeconductedasfollows:(a) Installthetestspecimeninaccordancewiththemanufacturersinstallationinstructions.(b) Applyadownwardforceof66722N(1505lbf)tooneofthefittingsthatcanbegripped.(c) Holdthedownwardforcefor1min.(d) Applyahorizontalforceof66722N(1505lbf)tooneofthefittingsthatcanbegripped.(e) Holdthehorizontalforcefor1min.

    5.3.2 PerformanceRequirements

    Theshower/steampanelshallnotmovedownwardorpullawayfromthewallorfromtheenclosure.Inaddition,fittingsshallnotpullawayfromtheshower/steampanel.
