ir Available in two standard widths, 18” and 21” the chair comes complete with an extensive range of seat, armrest, footrest and backrest configurations which provide a safe, user specific chair. This is further complemented by a complete range of ac-cessories including fully adjustable head supports, foot trays, calf straps, side padding, harnesses and commode pans.

Seat, armrest, footrest and headrest configurations are retrospectively replaceable to allow the chair specification to be amended to suit degenerative conditions and to enable re-issue.

Chiltern Invadex has been helping to provide bathing solutions for domestic, healthcare and leisure envi-ronments for over 35 years. This experience has been utilised in the recent development of our showering solutions range resulting in the introduction of the AquaMaster tilt in space shower chair during 2012 and more recently the new tilting Washington shower cradle.

Each has been developed and field tested in conjunction with healthcare professionals to create a chair which provides comfort and security for the user combined with ease of use.

AquaMaster Tilt in Space Shower Chair The Tilt in Space Shower Chair is the newest addition to the popular AquaMaster range.

It provides a tilting angle of 0 to 30 degrees with an additional 10 degrees provided by the ergonomic angled backrest.

New for 2013, Chiltern Invadex are proud to introduce the Washington Tilt in Space Shower Cradle. The Washington Cradle was introduced in 2001 and was designed specifically for users with multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, motor neurone disease and clients with fixed hips, legs of contractures. It is also particularly beneficial for those experiencing involuntary movements and rapidly deteriorating body conditions.

This level of support has now been combined with the benefits of a tilt in space shower chair to create a comfortable and secure bathing solution which allows simple adjustment of the fabric creating a hammock effect to support the user as required. The buckled fabric is removeable to allow for hygienic laundering.

The tilting cradle is available in three standard sizes; small, medium and large. Each is complemented by a range of accessories and options which have been carefully developed to enable specification of a safe, user specific bathing aid.

Where additional customisation is required, our experienced surveyers can assist in the production of a user specific specification for manufacture by our in-house fabrication team.

The photograph below shows the chair with an optional toileting aperture, which is available in various sizes to suit the user, and quilted side rails which can also be added to the leg section for added security.

The cradle provides a tilting angle of between 5 and 35 degrees.
