Straus Home Ranch

For over 75 years, Straus Home Ranch has been an

epicenter of collaboration and bold new thinking,

particularly in the organic food, sustainable agriculture

and environmental conservation movements. In 2014, we

renovated our home to serve as a tranquil, secluded,

inspirational venue for vacations, retreats and events.

Our 166-acre certified organic ranch is located in rural

West Marin, on the shores of the pristine Tomales Bay

near the hamlet of Marshall. About a one-hour drive up

the coast from San Francisco, our region includes the

Point Reyes National Seashore (directly across the Bay

from our ranch!), artisan cheeses, oysters and vast

stretches of prime agricultural land, permanently

protected by the Marin Agricultural Land Trust

(co-founded by our mom).

Capacity & Availability

Daytime meeting space (1 day)

Overnight accommodations: up to 10 people (1 night)

Catering (breakfast, morning refresh, lunch,afternoon snack break) - featuring locally grown,

organic and artisan foods (choose from two menus)

Option A: Arrive 8am for day-long meeting, overnight,

then check-out 10am on the following morning.

Option B: Check-in after 4pm, overnight, then hold

your meeting on the following day, with check-out at

6pm.

Supplement your retreat with a variety of dining

options and activities.

Pricing: $2,664.85 Inclusive of catering, taxes, cleaning

and service; plus a refundable security deposit of

$1,000. Payable by credit card when booking the

reservation.
