To reduce the cost of production of Lignite, the production

erect this proposed conveyor NL/3, a ramp was formed, two

dome bridges were erected for crossing the New Surface Bench

conveyor (NS/3) and Surface Bench

System conveyor (S/3) and new conveyor

was erected for a length of 839 mts.

To have the option of stacking through

drive motors, 2000mm Steel cord belt for a length of 3000m and

idlers for the same length were made available for use in other

areas. Estimated savings is Rs.17.47 Crores, which includes

Rs.4.68 Crores savings towards cost of electricity

Senior Officials of Mines, Representatives of Trade Union,

Associations, and Employees participated in the function.

The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission has granted

us Licence for Power trading under Category 1. The un-

requisitioned surplus power was being traded through

NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Limited since the year 2016 that

fetched us INR 134 Crores and INR 294 Crores in the year

2017. With the accreditation our company will trade power

as an independent trader. Power will be procured from other

Accredition By Central Electricity Regulatory CommissionGenerating Companies (GENCos) through Bilateral

Agreements. Our company will contribute more to the

Growth of the Nation.

The trading of surplus power in the market will pave the way for

effective utilisation of generating capacity of GENCos by

catering to needy procurers by utilising the surrendered /

surplus power which otherwise would have gone waste.
