mo�o of DLLE is “To reach the unreached”. NM College of Commerce and Economics has
become a part of DLLE in this academic year 2016-17. A total of 60 students have
registered. This year the college has undertaken two projects. Survey of Women Status:
This project has been designed to study the status of women and to understand their
challenges and problems in today's �mes, while Career Project aims at educa�ng
students of the various careers available to them and how to make right career choices.
Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics
provides an excellent infrastructure for stadium, best coach
for training for Sports. It encourages students to par�cipate in
various sports such as Chess, Badminton, Cricket at
Intercollegiate level, state level, Na�onal level and
Interna�onal Level.
Brief: The course consists of five subjects, namely Macro
Economics, Financial Markets, Deriva�ves,
Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis.
Timing: The lectures are conducted from 6.00 pm to 9.00
pm five days a week.
Fees: Rs. 17,000 plus Service Tax
Dura�on: 100 hour course which spans approximately over
2 to 3 months
Write-up: On comple�on of the course an individual should
be able to make well informed investment
decisions for himself in shares of a company as
well as in the newer avenue of deriva�ves. An
individual may also become a professional advisor
a�er acquiring more prac�cal experience; he may
also opt for Industry Employment and may
become research analyst, etc.

Mumbai, is the NMs very own Umang. Umang is not just a
cultural fes�val, but a huge pla�orm for the youth to express
themselves freely. It is visited by more than 50,000 people and
more than 200 colleges and universi�es take part in Umang
with students from all over Mumbai and outsta�on, there's an
array of different events, ranging from gaming to crea�ve
wri�ng, from management to performing arts. There are also
some exci�ng workshops. Umang is sponsored by big
companies while there are separate sponsors for the
workshops conducted, media partners, and cafeteria
partners. Umang 2016, in its 17th year, a journey packed with
mys�cism, thrill and adventure awaited all owing to its theme
of 'Call of The Wild'.

InsightDeveloped under the aegis of Finance and Investment Cell,
Insight, NM's college first ever business, finance and
economics meet was held on 18th and 19th of February.
Though it was the first year of the meet, it turned out to be a
huge success. With its innova�ve events and outstanding
speaker sessions it stood out uniquely from the other fests
happening in the city. Students from various colleges like
