affected upon start-up, not while driving)

DME/DDE and the instrument cluster

Field• DO NOT replace parts!• Obtain all information for performed “Oil

Services” and “Vehicle Check Services”• Reset the CBS data by carrying out test

function #25, “Software reset,” in the instrument cluster

• Enter the check sum of the last 5-digits of the VIN to activate this test function

Field• Set the time/date via the iDrive controller • In “Vehicle Info,” check if the CBS data for

“Oil Services” and “Vehicle Check” now displays the correct values

• Reprogram the vehicle with ISTA/P 2.52.3• Refer to the updated SI B62 06 13

• Comfort Access does not function correctly with the replacement remote

• When locking the vehicle, it will unlock immediately

• The problem with Comfort Access is that the missing remote is somewhere inside the vehicle

• In this case, DO NOT replace any parts to fix Comfort Access for locking the vehicle

• In all cases, we found the lost remote inside the vehicle

Field• Check under the carpet; behind the dash;

inside the seat trim; and under the seat

• If you encounter this situation on other models, submit an Info Only PuMA case

• Exhaust leak at the flexible pipe on the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF)

• A replaceable coupler is listed in ETK with a repair procedure in ISTA/D

is leaking and the vehicle is still covered under warranty

• Replacing the automatic transmission fluid should be performed as stated in the Center Operations Manual or the Service and Warranty Information booklet for vehicles prior to MY2011

• Perform service at 100,000 miles

grace period to perform this service, i.e., a transmission service can be performed from 98,000 to 100,000 miles
