ADHESIVECorkmaster and Wood-O-Cork can be installed on concrete, plywood, fibreboard and wooden floors. However, in all cases the sub-floor must be clean, dry, smooth, level and free from anything that may impair good adhesion. The adhesive that should be used is Wicanders W-336.This is a water based dispersion adhesive especially developed for our Corkmaster and Wood-O-Cork products. The amount of adhesive that can be spread atany time depends on the prevailing site conditions. Temperature, humidity and airflow can all affect the open time of the adhesive. It is important to use an ’A2notch trowel’ and to only spread sufficient adhesive that can be laid into whilst it is still wet – i.e. within 15-20 minutes. Typically we would expect this to bearound 2-3m 2 at a time.
