ST. JEROME’S R.C.I.A. PROCESS R.C.I.A - The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a
process for adults seeking a personal relationship with Christ and membership in the Catholic Church. It is a journey of faith in preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation. We also prepare baptized Catholics who have not received First Communion and Confirmation for these Sacraments. If you know of anyone

The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board requires all teacher applicants to submit a pastoral reference when applying for a teaching position. It is the responsibility of the candidate to attend Sunday liturgy, be involved in parish life and contact the parish priest well in advance.
Teacher candidates who are attending school out of the local area are also responsible to give the parish priest advance notice. The parish priest cannot complete the form if he does not know the applicant on a personal level.
Updating a pastoral reference is not just a matter of changing the date on the form. The candidate must continue to practice their faith and be an active member of the parish.
