Let’s recap our fruitful activities in AY2018/19

a seminar, presented by GoGoVan, a well-known and first unicorn startup in Hong Kong.

2. Dean’s Cup Business Innovation Gymnasium (B.I.G.3.0 & B.I.G.4.0)

EIC organized two business idea competitions (B.I.G.3.0 and B.I.G.4.0) attracting a total of 21 teams with 106 local, mainland and international students to join. Students took this chance to form multidisciplinary teams which created synergy and allowed peer learning. With the support of LimeHK (a HK-based accelerator), the Final Round Competitions of B.I.G.3.0 and B.I.G.4.0 were held outside campus - WeWork Causeway Bay and The Hive Kennedy Town. These co-working spaces provide a great opportunity for students to connect with startup community and get real pitching experiences. In addition to cash awards, B.I.G.4.0 winning teams have been offered free co-working spaces and mentorship by TusPark HK (a Tsinghua University affiliated cross-border servicing company for startups) to further their businesses.
