Signing and storing of legal documents in IBM Connections or Quickr with DocAs

Use the DocAs app on the iPad with File Jockey to sign documents and upload them directly to your IBM Quickr or Connections environment.

DosAs is available in a free Lite version (only pdf's are supported and a limited amount) but for actual use you need to purchase the app for €5,99.

As for all our manuals we use IBM Greenhouse as test environment. All your need is a free IBM Greenhouse account.

Setup

Purchase or install the DocAs app on your iPad

Setup Cloud services for File Jockey in Docs by pressing this + icon, select WebDAV

For the Address enter https://greenc.lialis.com for IBM Greenhouse Connections, or https://greenq.lialis.com for IBM Greenhouse Quickr.

Enter your Greenhouse user name and password and press the link button.

For the purposes of this walk through, I'm assuming you're using IBM Connections, the same applies for Quickr.

Click Log in

Choose a location; choose My Files or a Community (in the community you can choose files from Files or Library). The available documents are presented.

Note: in the Free Lite version only PDF documents (limited amount) are supported.

Just click a file to import. The imported file is presented immediately in the right section.

Sign the document

Click the document in the right pane to open it. Click the paper with pencil icon on the right to put the document in edit mode.

Select the pencil you like at the left, if you want you can change the thickness and the color by clicking the square in the middle.

Sign the document.

Upload the document to the IBM Connections environment by clicking the square with arrow icon.

Select WebDAV as export method

Choose a location in IBM Greenhouse, My Files or in any community you are member of

The file is uploaded
