Children’s Church and Nursery: The children are invited to Children’s Church in the room across from the nursery. Children’s Church is for preschoolers through 2 nd graders. Today’s leader is Sue Bates. Each Sunday the nursery mother is Terri Hazelwood. This Weeks Announcements Rally Day Today is Rally Day 2017. As we begin Sunday School again, we thank our teachers, look forward to blessings of present and future students, and are in prayer for God’s teaching us all of salvation, mission, and spiritual growth. Breakfast happens today at 9:30 am with a Sunday School opening at 10:15. Thanks to the deacons for a delicious breakfast! Many activities are outside today, as we celebrate God’s presence among us. Take the time to watch or play a game, or a moment to encourage. Thanks to Ann Egloff for bringing the pony to add to the festivities. Musical Performance Tonight, Randall Plut will be performing a variety of music including medley of Disney Movie tunes. This will be an extraordinary experience. Come out to First Baptist Church tonight at 7pm and enjoy this great performance! Choir- Come out and join us, we meet each Wednesday at 7:30 pm. The Case for Christ—Women’s Bible Study - started this past Thursday. We are studying Lee Strobel’s bestselling book. This book delves into the reliability of the Bible and proves that Christ is indeed exactly who He claims to be. Karen Henderson and Wendy Daniel are coordinating this study. Please join us for this powerful study and enjoy fellowship and spiritual growth. We welcome you all! We meet each Thursday at 10:30am. The Ladies’ Circle will meet this Tuesday, September 12 at 10:30 AM in the Philathea Room. Our studies this year will be taken from the book “Attitude Is Your Paintbrush, It colors every Situation” by James W. Moore. We will cover such subjects as, The Attitude of Gratitude, The Attitude of Compassion, and many other aspects that make up our lives. Eloise Wilder will be the leader. All ladies are encouraged to attend for a time of “study and fellowship”. Bible Reading Changed- Our group read-through of God’s word this year finished up yesterday. Today’s sermon is from day 1 of week 52. God blesses all who come to his word. It’s hard to believe it has already been a year. Find other ways to keep in the word this year, from daily devotionals to daily bible reading on your own. It is the food of the Christian. We cannot live or grow without it!
