Jan.31- Bolt Action Rifles Traditional bolt guns only, no straight pull actions, optics allowed, narrow vertical plates. May 29 - Short Barreled Handguns Any pistol or revolver with a barrel 3-3/4” or shorter (metric guns 97mm). Measured from face of chamber to end of barrel. No optics Any .22LR cal. rim fire pistol, rifle or revolver will qualify. Open sights or optics are allowed except on revolver & short barrel handgun nights which are open sights only. Junior‘s (under 16 years), who have prior firearms safety instruction may participate. Please note: matches are not a good place to learn safe gun handling. Junior shooters, who are not able to handle a pistol safely, but are competent with a rifle, may enter pistol matches using a rifle. A parent ir guardian will accompany the junior at the line to assist loading and unloading the firearm. All firearms are checked by a safety officer to verify that they are safe before they are removed from the firing line. Visitors are welcome to watch the match before participating. Eye and ear protection is mandatory for everyone on the range. SNOW CANCELLATIONS: Posted no later than 3:00 p.m. on our website on the day of the match. Matches Start at 7:00 pm A brief safety talk will begin at 6:45 pm. Registration and number assignment will stop at that time.
