Founded in 1998, Silver Elektromekanik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (Silver) is a privately held

electromechanical manufacturing company based in Kurtkoy, Istanbul, Turkey.

Led by a distinguished team of seasoned engineers, product designers and technical

experts, Silver’s approach to manufacturing centers around the company’s commitment to

deliver impeccable results to satisfy customer needs. Having started with manufacturing

electrical contacts and terminals for local customers in Turkey, Silver has become a global

electrical contacts with an annual

capacity of 200 million pieces.

Silver manufactures electrical

switches ranging from rotary

switches, rocker switches, button

to partially finished/finished wall

outlet and switches.

Fasteners.

Silver has 18 cold header and 16

thread rolling high-end machines

for fastener manufacturing as

well as 4 dedicated machinery for

manufacturing combination screws.

Mechanical components.

Silver has produced millions of

mechanical components for which it

has created the tools in its state of the

art tooling room.

Metal pressing and fabrication.

Main equipment used in the

Plastic injection molding.

With ENGEL® 120 ton, HAITIAN® 160

ton, and ARBURG® 80 ton injection

machines, Silver offers its unmatched

services.

Progressive assembly.

Silver progressive assembly process

adds parts to a product in a sequential

manner to create a finished product

much faster and yet, precise. Products

assembled may either be by entirely,

partially, or non in-house manufactured

parts.

Tooling.

Silver has 12 highly trained and

dedicated technicians that work

diligently creating the tool and mold

needed to manufacture the metal and

plastic parts. There are wire cut, CNC

Eroder, free surface grinder, fast hole

burner, CNC High-Speed Milling, 20,000

RPM V33I Makino, manual milling

(w/ digital readouts) and manual lathe

(w/ digital readouts) machinery, and

other critical tool room equipment in its

tooling room.

Design and Engineering Services.

Silver’s engineers and technical

designers attend the manufacturing

projects from the beginning to the

whole system including conceptual,

preliminary and detail design, and the

most critical parts such as the inner

workings/engineering design.
