SIMILARITIES BETWEEN ISLAM AND FOLLOWERS OF

JESUS

Drinking Wine or Strong Drinks is Prohibited

Luke 1:15

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor

Strong drink; and shall be

Filled with Holy Ghost, even from his mothers Womb.

Romans 14:21

It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to Drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy

brother stumbleth, or is

Offended or is made weak.

Interest is Forbidden

Leviticus 25: 36-37

Take thou no usuary of him, or increase: but fear thy god; that thy brother

may live with thee.Thou shalt

Not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

Psalms 15: 5

He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh rewards against the

innocent.He that doeth theseThings shall never be moved

Eating Pork is Prohibited

Leviticus 11:7-8

And the swine ,though he devided the hoof,and be cloven-footed,yet he

chewth not the cud;he is unclean

to you.Of their flesh shall ye not Eat,and their carcass shall ye not touch,

they are unclen to you.

CircumcisedGenesis 17 :10-11

This is my Convenant , which ye shall keeo ,between me & u and thy seed

after thee ; Every Man

child among you shall be circumcised . And ye shall circumcise the flesh of

your foreskin; and it

shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.

Both John the Baptist(Luke 1:59) & Jesus (Luke 2:21) were circumcised .

Ten Commandments

Matthew 5 : 19

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,and shall

teach men so ,he shall be

them the same shall be called

great in the kingdom of heaven.

"Ein talmeed na'leh 'al rabbo; shekken kal adam she'MUSHLAM yihyeh k'rabbo."

Translation in English: "No student can be above his teacher, but everyone that is a

MUSLIM, can be as his teacher."

Important Note: The Hebrew word "Mushlam" comes from the root "Sh L M".

"Shalom" which comes from the same root means "peace". The Arabic word

"Muslim" comes from the root "S L M". "Salam" means "peace". "Salem" means

"safe".

God is Only One
