The mutually beneficial collaborations are expected to result in industrial and/or economic benefits to Canada. Objective: Objective: To increase research and training in targeted areas that could strongly enhance Canadas economy, society and/or environment within the next 10 years. Research and training is conducted through a partnership between academic researchers and industry or government organizations. Available budget requires supporting focused challenges. SPG is the only program with set target areas.
