Simple Kusudama Flower variation step by step
The Kusudama flower has become very popular and many of you will already know how to
make these
But for those that find them a little fiddley to do are just fancy a change here is an easy
version.
Take a square of paper (anything up to 120gsm works well or 150gsm at most)
And fold in half point to point.

Take the bottom right corner and fold up to the top point.
And the same again with the left,
Open back out and then fold the right flap up to the fold line

Repeat for the left side
Now just fold the ends over to the back
Put a little glue onto one of the flaps and fold over the other half and stick together

Hold the point in one hand and just push the edge where you have glued like so
That is one petal, now you just need to make some more. With this version you can have
3,4,5, or six petals per flower and to join the petals together you just put glue (I have
actually made these using a tape pen too ) on one half of the flat side and stick to one half
of the next petal and so on until you have your flower
This one has 5 petals which is best if you want to make into flower ball
