Build Experiment Sets for Effective Teaching
Current Status and Motivation
Electromagnetic compatibility is a subject touching many different fields of electrical engineering
and electronics. Due to this certain level of complexity, it is very important to simplify the main
messages for effective teaching. When students understand the basic messages well, they can
apply their knowledge and continue with solving more complex EMC issues.
Research Topics and Issues to be solved
The goal of the thesis is to build a set of experimental setups with the help of the mentor and
write a documentation. The student will deepen his knowledge on electromagnetic compatibility
and its coupling mechanisms with this thesis.
Approach/Methodology
Literature study of basic electromagnetic compatibility literature
Define mechanical setups and manufacture them in the IFE workshop
Build electrical setups
Measure the setups and define experiments
Write documentation
