Welcome to Redeemer Church
Redeemer Church is an independent Reformed congregation. We are Baptistic in
practice, meaning that we adhere to the Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689, a
doctrinal statement strongly grounded in the Word of God.
If you are our guest today and would like to make yourself known to us, you can
use the Guest Card in the seat pocket in front of you. After completing it, simply
drop it in the offering plate when it passes; and if you are our guest today, please
feel no obligation to give when the offering plate passes. As you leave, please take
one of our Guest Packets located at the door to the auditorium.
“Come, let us worship and bow down! Let us kneel before the Lord, our maker!”

A Prayer for The Lord’s Day
O LORD OUR GOD, we do indeed offer our humble and unworthy praise
for this great and glorious truth. O Lord, how can we ever thank Thee
sufficiently that Thou hast ever looked upon us in spite of us, in spite of our
works, in spite of all that is so true of us? We give unto Thee, and unto Thee
alone, all the praise, and all the honor, and all the glory. We bless Thy name
that we know that the foundation of God standeth sure; that nothing can ever
move it! That Thou knowest them that are Thine. Hear us, O Lord, and grant
that we all may know Thy seal upon us, that we may know of a surety that we
belong to this blessed remnant according to the election of grace. Amen.

REFLECTION
“My theological tradition is solidly Augustinian; and as an Augustinian, I have to believe that basically all declinists are right, but that God’s common grace actually, because of His love for His human creatures, mitigates the consequences of that decline, and sometimes brings unexpected order out of disorder. I’m always praying that God will move in our times in ways that aren’t explicable by the moral resources at the moment.”
― Albert Mohler
COLLECT
Almighty God, whose blessed Son was led by the Spirit to be tempted by
Satan: Come quickly to help us who are assaulted by many temptations; and,
as you know the weaknesses of each of us, let each one find you mighty to
save; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you
and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

PERSONAL & FAMILY WORSHIP
THE BAPTIST CATECHISM
Question 114: What do we pray for in the third petition of the Lord's Prayer? Answer: In the third petition, which is, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven," we
pray that God, by his grace, would make us able and willing to know, obey, and submit to his will in all things, as the angels do in heaven.
Scripture: Matthew 6:10; Psalm 103:20, 21; 25:4, 5; 119:26.
WE HAVE RECEIVED THE SPIRIT WHICH IS OF GOD | CHARLES SPURGEON
Dear reader, have you received the spirit which is of God, wrought by the Holy Ghost in your soul [1 Corinthians 2:12]? The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit in the heart may be clearly seen from this fact, that all which has been done by God the Father, and by God the Son, must be ineffectual to us, unless the Spirit shall reveal these things to our souls. What effect does the doctrine of election have upon any man until the Spirit of God enters into him? Election is a dead letter in my consciousness until the Spirit of God calls me out of darkness into marvellous light. Then through my calling, I see my election, and knowing myself to be called of God, I know myself to have been chosen in the eternal purpose. A covenant was made with the Lord Jesus Christ, by his Father; but what avails that covenant to us until the Holy Spirit brings us its blessings, and opens our hearts to receive them? There hang the blessings on the nail-Christ Jesus; but being short of stature, we cannot reach them; the Spirit of God takes them down and hands them to us, and thus they become actually ours. Covenant blessings in themselves are like the manna in the skies, far out of mortal reach, but the Spirit of God opens the windows of heaven and scatters the living bread around the camp of the spiritual Israel. Christ's finished work is like wine stored in the wine-vat; through unbelief we can neither draw nor drink. The Holy Spirit dips our vessel into this precious wine, and then we drink; but without the Spirit we are as truly dead in sin as though the Father never had elected, and though the Son had never bought us with his blood. The Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary to our well-being. Let us walk lovingly towards him and tremble at the thought of grieving him.

PASTOR ANTUAN GUREN - TURKEY
Turkey remains the largest nation unreached by the gospel. The country of Turkey has a population of 80.8 million, and 99.8% of them are Muslim. Christian leaders estimate that there are around 3,500 evangelical believers in the entire country. Through International Needs USA, Redeemer Church supports the evangelism efforts of native Turkish pastors Behnan Konutgan and Antuan Guren.
KINGDOM HOME - UGANDA The mission of Kingdom Home is to end sex-trafficking in Uganda through prevention. We do this by providing a safe place to live for children at risk of entering the sex trade. It is a place of hope where all of their needs are met. We equip the children in our care to live abundant lives and be difference makers in their communities. Matthew & Ashley Boyd's Kingdom Home presently houses 156 boys and girls who are at risk of sex-trafficking in Uganda. The Boyd's say, "These are all children who were once at risk of child sex slavery but are now safe, loved, and cared for in one of our four homes."

MARCH 2 – 6 ON RENEWING YOUR MIND
Jesus Christ is the light of the world, and if we follow
Him, we will not walk in darkness. In fact, He has
redeemed His people so that we might shine forth as
lights in the darkness ourselves. In these sessions from
Ligonier’s 2019 London Conference, we’ll consider
core truths of the Christian faith and how these
essential truths equip believers to shine as lights in a
dark world.
