SINGAPORE
7 - 13 October 2017
Dear colleagues, friends
Welcome on board to Singapore for the 2017 study trip. It is with great pleasure we welcome you: 21 Belgian
hospital directors/ board members and 19 representatives of our structural partners .
We have 5 inspiring days ahead of us. We will discover Singapore’s healthcare system which has a reputation
for providing fair and affordable care at a very high standard. We will experience a whole new dimension of
sustainable city planning and architecture with the ‘garden in a hospital, hospital in a garden’ concept. We will zoom in on the health tech
industry as the second most important economical growth sector. We will explore robotical hospital innovation. We will meet and net-
work with Belgian and Luxembourgh professionals in Singapore.
This study trip reflects our values: open, excellence, leadership and friendship and confirm our association is ‘the place to be’ for
innovation, the individual hospital director and young potential healthcare leaders.
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank the working group for putting together this exciting program.
We hope you will enjoy our mission in Singapore and let’s learn, share, discuss, meet, inspire, innovate, …
Best wishes,
Paul d’Otreppe Pascal Verdonck
President Vice-president
