Cortex A7 dual-core ARM processor, Mali-400 MP2 dual core GPU 1GB DDR3 DRAM controls the unit, which has the Raspberry Pi-style microUSB connector. Two USB ports and a single USB OTG connector are included, along with the expected SD card slot, Ethernet connector, HDMI, camera connector, and audio output. Some differences to the Raspberry Pi include the power, reset and uboot switches mounted on the board, a user-defined LED, and IR receiver.26-pin GPIO headers are compatible with Raspberry Pi.

Fork of Rpi

5. PandaBoard

It is an open OMAP 4 processor-based mobile software development platform. The OMAP (Open Multimedia Applications Platform) processor was developed by Texas Instruments for portable/mobile multimedia applications. In 2012 TI announced that it was quitting the mobile processor business to concentrate on embedded platforms, and the future of OMAP remains uncertain. The PandaBoard can be obtained from DigiKey.

6. LinkSprite pcDuino

pcDuino mini-PC, from LinkSprite, runs OSs such as Ubuntu and Android and sends output to HDMI.

ARM CPUs. Programming in Java, Python, and other platforms is supported, as is an Arduino-style IDE.

7. Intel Galileo Gen 2 -

Intel's Galileo Gen 2 is based around an Intel Quark SoC X1000 application processor and is compatible with the Arduino line of products. It provides more power and functionality for those already familiar with Arduino prototyping tools and costs around £50 (ex. VAT).

Certified as an Arduino open source development board, the Intel Galileo Gen 2 is based on Intel's Quark SoC X1000 processor and a Pentium instruction set. can be programmed using the Arduino IDE via Mac OS, Windows, or Linux. Galileo Gen 2 itself runs Linux.

8. Intel NUC series -

Intel also offers the NUC series of kit products built into a mini-PC complete with case. Intel's NUC, aka Next Unit of Computing, comes in a 4-by-4-inch form factor and is positioned by Intel as a higher-performing compact PC alternative to Raspberry Pi. The NUC has found uses in home theatres, digital signage, and kiosks, and it has served as a gateway to the Internet of things, according to Intel.

powered by Intel Core processors, and runs Windows, Linux, Android, or Chrome OS

9. Cotton Candy

The Cotton Candy from Norwegian company FXI Technologies is "a USB stick sized computer that provides a single, secure point of access to a user's personal cloud services and apps through their favorite operating system, while delivering a consistent experience on any screen."

10. Odroid-C1

One of a range of single-board computers from Hardkernel, the Odroid-CI . It has a similar hardware specification to the Pi, 1.5GHz quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A5 (ARMv7) CPU Mali-450 MP2 GPU and1GB DDR3 SDRAMEthernet port4 USB 2.0 slotsInfrared receiver. 1 micro-USB port but this is for USB OTG; unlike the Raspberry Pi, ODroid-C1 requires a DC power supply via the traditional jack. A type D micro HDMI connector is available, and the board can be expanded and interacted with via the 40 pin GPIO header.

Available operating systems include Ubuntu 14.04 or Android KitKat.

11. Humming Board i1

comes in three models. Ethernet, powered USB ports (no more external hubs!), a GPIO header, HDMI, microSD slot, digital and analogue audio and an IR receiver and a camera.Controlling this lot is a single core system on a chip processor

512MB of memory and GC880 GPU. Power comes to the board via microUSB,

OS : XBMC and Linux. Additional options are available with the other models, as well as additional cost.

12 . Minnowboard Max

1st version : single core version of the Minnowboard Max, an open source board with an Intel Atom CPU (1.46GHz, 64-bit). This particular component enables the device to run Windows 8.1, as well as Debian, Android 4.4 and isYocto Project Compatible (it also runs, unofficially, Fedora, Linux Mint and CentOS).

another : 1GB DDR3 RAM, Intel HD graphics, HDMI out, microSD card slot, SATA2 connector, Ethernet, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0, GPIO pins and UEFI firmware option.

13 . NanoPC-T1The NanoPC-T1 from Chinese tech start up NanoPC is small, but beautifully formed. It’s powered by a Samsung Exynos 4412 quad core Cortex A9 processor SoC and comes with with 1GB RAM, SD card slot, and two USB 2.0 ports, just to mention a few. It comes with system support for Adroid, Linux and Ubunto and the source code is provided in a DVD.
