The March luncheon went well with our speaker Jerry
Schroeder filling us in with a lot of Folsom history. I
again want to thank our members for volunteering for our
Haggin Oaks Golf Expo. which will take place on April 26th,
27th, and 28th. We will have 29 of our members sharing
time in our booth for 3 days. This kind of opportunity to
promote our Branch does not come along every day. We
hope that out of the three days we will be there that
some new faces might want to join us at Branch 49. If any
of you drop by to see us we will be giving away a gift cer-
tificate for a dinner for two each day.
At our April luncheon our Area Governor Frank Severn
will be there to present one of our members a special
award. We will also have another interesting speaker for
your enjoyment. I hope to see you all at our next luncheon
on Thursday April 25, 2013. Karl Ryden
