REGISTRATION DETAILS
1) DELEGATES:
All countries are represented in the General Assembly in the following committees:
1st Committee: Disarmament and International Security
2nd Committee: Economic and Financial
3rd Committee: Social, Humanitarian and Cultural
Commission 1: Human Rights Commission
Commission 2: Environmental Commission
A few countries will be represented on the following Councils:
Security Council
International Court of Justice
Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
Group of 20 Nations (G20)
Please Note: Previous Model UN experience is a prerequisite for a seat in the Security
Council, International Court of Justice and the G20.
2) COUNTRY SELECTION: Only the Organizing Committee can decide on country
allocation. Please provide country preference along with the registration form.
Alternatively a confirmatory email may be sent to [email protected]
containing these details.
3) COMMITTEE SELECTION: Committees will be allotted depending on information
provided by the school in the registration form.

4) PAYMENT:
Payment must be made by Pay Order or by Bank Draft, in Indian Rupees, made
payable to ‘Sishya, Adyar, Chennai’.
The Registration Fee is INR 750 per person (delegates and teacher faculty).
This fee includes conference kit and lunch on all days at the venue
Registration forms must be submitted along with the registration fee.
5) ACCOMMODATION & TRANSPORTATION:
School teams will be responsible for their own accommodation and transportation.
However the organizing committee will be happy to help schools find accommodation if
required
6) FINAL DATE FOR REGISTRATION:
The last date for submission of the form is 10th August, 2013. Early entries will be given preference for allocation of countries. Schools may give preference for up to five countries.
