• Career Development – Focus is on business related careers but assists with all future endeavors– DECA partners with a variety of companies to offer students scholarships,

internships, & awards.

• Travel – In-State & Out-of-State travel opportunities– This Year’s Hot Spots: Washington DC, Greensboro, NC & Orlando, FL

Requirements for DECA• In order to join DECA students should do the following:

– Attend the info meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 2– Pay $40.00 membership fee by Sept. 26– Be active at meetings & events

• $40.00 membership fee covers:– AK DECA t-shirt– State & National Membership – Registration & Testing fees for District Conference
