DESCRIPTION

April 20th is a day commonly associated with illegal marijuana use across the county. The Mesa Prevention Alliance will put a positive twist to combat this mixed message by offering two fun events for youth scheduled to be held on 4/20 and starting at 4:20 PM. As part of the national movement to encourage youth to “Live ABOVE the Influence” of drugs and alcohol, the Mesa Prevention Alliance will offer two events in Mesa to offer healthy alternatives and local resources for youth. These events will be held at Skateland in Mesa and at the Red Mountain Center. Free food, music, raffle prizes, and memberships to youth programs are some of the rewards for those who come out and show their support for taking back the time and making it a positive one.
