Updates

Added Features:• Added the ability to log data ( DateTime, ~Core temperature, Alarm Information ) to CSV file • Added Modbus TCP Slave. To test with Modbus TCP Slave, you would need a Modbus TCP

Master simulator like the following:https://www.modbustools.com/modbus_poll.html

• Added Modbus TCP Slave• Supported label prints:

◦ Zebra KR203 ◦ Zebra KR403 ◦ Zebra GK420d ◦ Primera LX500c

Bug Fixes:• Fixed a bug asking temperature data outside the IR image area in FMPlus camera.• Fixed a bug where user couldn’t create root access password in the event users change.

Other:• Increased the font size of the “Actual Temperature” and “~Core Temperature” for Portrait

mode• Renamed Enable Data Capture to Enable data capture• Renamed Capture Data only on Fail to Capture data only on fail• Renamed Delete After in day(s) to Delete after in day(s)• Renamed Image Name Prefix to Image name prefix• Renamed Display ~Core Body temperature to Display ~Core temperature• Renamed Enter Root Password to Enter root password• Renamed Display only Alarm notification and no video from the camera to Disable video

feed(s)• Renamed ACTUAL to Actual Temperature in Alarm Window (Right side window)• Renamed ~CORE TEMPERATURE to ~Core Temperature in Alarm Window (Right side window)• Renamed Change Password to Change password• Renamed Automatically Logout on Exit to Automatically logout on exit

Understanding the Green Light/Red Light System

Temperature data is gathered automatically and translated into a green light (pass) or red light (fail).

A red light lets informs the user the device has detected an elevated ~core temperature. An audio alarm may also sound on red light fails (see Alarm Settings). Review your company’s policy regarding pass or fail readings.

A green light indicates a ~core temperature measurement that does not exceed the alarm threshold.

27

Understanding Actual and ~Core Temperature

The actual temperature reading reflects the hottest value detected in the target zone. ICI’s proprietary software uses this number to approximate the core temperature of the subject. The red light/green light system uses the ~core temperature to determine a pass or fail.

Default settings:

~Core temperature readings < 37.5 °C (99.5 °F) will trigger a green light (pass).*~Core temperature readings ≥ 37.5 °C (99.5 °F) will trigger a red light (fail).*

Setting A Fixed Level & Span

Use these setting to gain finer control of the image:

Min - the minimum temperature to be detected in °C or °FMax - the maximum temperature to be detected in °C or °F

An expanded Min and Max temperature range will allow for a wider range of temperatures to be detected by the imager. A narrow Min and Max will reduce the range of temperatures detected by the imager.

1. Access the Settings Menu (see Opening/Closing the Settings Menu).2. Login (see Gaining Root Access (Login)).3. Click the General sub-menu button.4. Check box for Fixed under Level & Span.5. Type Min and Max temperatures into input fields.6. Press Apply to accept settings and exit menu.

STM THERMAL IMAGERS ARE CALIBRATED FOR A SPECIFIC TEMPERATURE RANGE. EXCEEDING THIS CALIBRATION IN EITHER DIRECTION WILL NOT IMPROVE IMAGE CONTRAST. IT IS BEST TO LEAVE THE SETTINGS ON AGC MODE UNLESS YOU ARE A CERTIFIED THERMOGRAPHER.

• The technology should be used to measure only one subject’s temperature at a time.

• Measurements should not be solely, or primarily, relied upon to diagnose or exclude a diagnosis of any disease.

• Elevated body temperature should be confirmed with secondary evaluation methods (e.g., an NCIT or clinical grade contact thermometer).

• Calibrate systems annually to maintain accurate device specifications.

• Make sure you have all system equipment and component items (refer to the Package Includes section on page 3).

• Ensure setup area has a stable ambient temperature between 20 °C and 24 °C.

• Select an appropriate area free of immediate airflow from doorways, as well as air conditioning/ventilation systems. Airflow can influence temperature readings.

• Select an appropriate area free of intense ambient heat from doorways/windows. Temperature fluctuations can influence temperature readings.

• Target area must have a non-reflective background.

• When fully assembled, make sure the system does not block the direct path of person(s) to be imaged. This ensures it will not be moved or knocked down. Using a dividing barrier will help keep tripods separate from the path.

• The temperature reference source (used for thermal drift compensation) is important in obtaining an accurate temperature assessment.

• Allow at least 45 minutes for the temperature reference to warm up. This will provide the most accurate skin temperature measurements.

• Make sure the temperature reference is positioned off center to keep the person being imaged as centered as possible.

• Read the current government guidance regarding the use of telethermographic systems for skin temperature measurements. Additional information can be found by reading IEC 80601-2-59:2017 Medical electrical equipment — Part 2-59: Particular requirements for the basic safety and essential performance of screening thermographs for human febrile temperature screening and ISO/TR 13154:2017 Medical electrical equipment - Deployment, implementation and operational guidelines for identifying febrile humans using a screening thermograph.

• Recommended system requirements for software:

Processor: i5 or aboveRAM: 4 GB or aboveOS: Windows 8/8.1/10Hard Drive: 256 GB or aboveDisplay Resolution: 1920x1080
