INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this catalog is to provide a method for identifying and ordering spare parts for your BEECHCRAFT Model 77 Skipper. See the following paragraphs for detailed information. To order replacement parts for electrical components, refer to the BEECHCRAFT Model 77 Skipper Wiring Diagram Manual.

ORGANIZATION

This illustrated parts catalog is prepared in accordance with the ATA (Air Transport Association) Specification No. 100 format.

The contents are organized at four levels:

Group, System/Chapter, Sub-System/Section, and Unit/Subject.

Group - lndentified by different colored divider tabs. These are primary divisions of the manual that enable broad separation of content. Typical of this division is the separation between the Airframe Systems and the Power Plant.

System/Chapter - The various groups are broken down into major systems such as Air Conditioning, Electrical Power, Landing Gear, etc. The systems are arranged more or less alphabetically rather than by precedence or importance. They are assigned a number, which becomes the first element of a standardized numbering system. Thus, the element "28" of the number 28-00-00 refers to the chapter "Fuel". Everything concerning the fuel system will be covered in this chapter.

Sub-System/Chapter - The major systems of· an aircraft. are broken down into subsystems. These sub systems are identified by the second element of a standard numbering system. The number "40" of the number 28-40-00 is for the Indicating portion of the fuel system.

Unit/Subject - The individual units within a sub system may be identified by the third element of the standard numbering system, such as 28-40-Q1. This number is assigned by the manufacturer and may, or may not, be used and will vary in usage.

APPLICATION

Any Publication conforming to the GAMA/ATA Format will · use the same basic numbering system. Thus, whether the Publication is a Maintenance Manual, a Parts Catalog, or a Wiring Diagram Manual, a person requiring information concerning the fuel storage or the fuel indicating portion of the fuel system would refer to the tab, Chapter 28, FUEL. The List of Pages and Table of Contents located at the beginning of the chapter provides a list of sub-systems and unit/subjects covered in the chapter, which enables a

· person to locate the required information.

Indicating (Quantity, temperature, pressure etc., does not include engine fuel flow or pressure.)

Carrying this example further, Fuel Indication, Left, Indicator Panel, could be assigned the number 28-41-01.

All Publications conforming to the GAMA/ATA Format will use the same numbering system, even though some chapters may be omitted because they are not applicable to that airplane or to that Publication.

The alpha-numeric index is a complete alpha-numerical listing in tabular form of each part number listed, except those identified as attaching parts. Parts common to more than one chapter or assembly will be listed once for each time it appears in order to reflect the different chapters, sections, etc. The Alpha-Numeric Index follows the Introduction. Most Part Numbers coded as attaching parts will not appear in this index.

If two assemblies are made up of a majority of identical parts, or the assemblies are opposite, i.e., left and right hand, the assemblies are listed together with their detail parts listed as common for both assemblies. In this case, only the left or right hand part, but not both, is indexed and illustrated, with the difference between left and right hand parts noted in the description column. The Units Per Assembly column indicates the number of detail parts required per assembly, NP indicates non procurable and AR as required. The notation "(See Chapter)" indicates that this assembly and its detail parts are illustrated and broken down in another chapter.

LIST OF PAGES AND TABLE OF CONTENTS

The List of Pages and Table of Contents following each chapter divider tab, lists the issue date of each page that is effective for that chapter, the titles and, if applicable, the serial effectivity of the unit/subject covered in that chapter. When a number is shown in the Usable On Code column, ·

refer to the code at the end of the listing of parts for that particular chapter to determine airplane serial effectivity. Each chapter has its own distinct coding, i.e., the code number denoting serial effectivity for one chapter will not be the same for another chapter.

The example above from Chapter 27 shows the indenture system used to indicate parts included in any given assembly. By this indenture system, parts shown in column 2 are component parts of the immediately preceding assembly in column 1; parts shown in column 3 are component parts of the immediately preceding assembly in column 2, etc., through column 7. As an example, if the 108-520089-1 Control Wheel Assembly is ordered, it would include Indexes 1 thru 6. There may be times a part number consists of more than 16 characters; in that case, an asterisk(*) will appear at the end of the part number column and the remainder of the number will be in the description field. See above example.

Immediately preceding the listing of parts is an illustration representative of that listing; locate the necessary part in the illustration (see step 1 in the example shown above). The index number adjacent to the illustrated part will appear in the listing of parts in the column entitled "GAMNATA Code and Index Number" (see step 2 above). Immediately to the right of the index number will be found the required part number.

Superseded part numbers will appear in the AlphaNumerical Index with the letter "S" just to the left of the number. They should also appear in the description field of the parts list, for example" ... BOLT/supersedes AN3-7/". In this instance AN3-7 would be the superseded number.

REVISED LINES

Revised lines in the Parts Ust are indicated by the letter "R" appearing just to the left of the part number column. The letter "R" indicates that the line has either been revised or added.
