FlexibilityDepending on application, Skynav N9000 DME system has very fl exible confi guration: Single and Dual transponder and monitoring, Low Power (100W) or High Power (1000W) version, Cold or Hot Standby confi guration, Omni-Directional or Unidirectional Antenna systems.
The SKYNAV N9000 DME satisfi es all clients’ needs, anywhere and anytime.
High Reliability Systems
The SKYNAV N9000 DME is produced to meet the highest standards. The unique design of heat dispatching and high effi cient transmitters enables the SKYNAV N9000 DME to work in very harsh condition. By using the latest technology and the most reliable components, SKYNAV N9000 DME has achieved an MTBO of more than 25,000 Hours.
Real Hot-Swappable System
The SKYNAV N9000 DME has an advanced modular construction that uses hot-swappable units with plug-in/out capability. This extraordinary feature can keep the transponder in operation while a module is being replaced.
RCMS – Remote Control and Monitoring Systems
Intelcan offers unparalleled management capabilities of the remote control and monitoring system. Based on the latest IP technology, the RCMS can be easily connected with multiple types of communication media: wireless, fi bre optic cable and traditional telephone cable. The RCMS displays operation status and critical information, and enables management, control and troubleshooting, all of which is available at your fi ngertips in real time.
Remote Control Unit (RCU) for technical operators
Remote Status Unit (RSU) for the air traffi c control room
Remote Maintenance Monitoring (RMM) for maintenance personnel.
The SKYNAV N9000 DME has a powerful integrated monitoring and maintenance system. The RMM software can be used for local or remote PC and provides an outstanding Built-In Test Equipment (BITE) feature. The system’s display screens show all operating parameters, overall system status, LRU status, alarm limits and all critical parameters on each module.
The RMM uses open-architecture software with an intuitive interface, allowing for fast localization of problems, and providing the user with suggested corrective actions.
Primary features include: Fully Windows 2000/XP/ 7 compatible
Centralized monitoring of up to 100 systems simultaneously and in real-time
Alarm reporting to fi eld technicians via email or SMS
Full RMM diagnostics for each site
Confi gurable system history logging continually/periodically
Remote confi guration and software upgrade
Backup system confi guration as a fi le and restore system by uploading the saved fi le
Multiple access levels with password protection
Support remote web browser monitoring (password protected)
Full RMM diagnostics for each site
SKYNAV Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) is a state-of-the-art system which features a single cabinet with dual transmitter, dual monitor and dual power supply. It can be in operation on its own or collocated with other Navaids such as ILS, MLS, CVOR and DVOR. The SKYNAV DME provides enhanced performance with outstanding effi ciency, cost effective solution as well as simplifi ed
maintenance and lower life cycle costs. The equipment meets or exceeds all requirements of ICAO Annex 10.
