Call forwarding settings Skype offers call forwarding settings to manage your calls. This guide covers: • how to forward all calls to a different number or voicemail • how to set Skype to call you on your Skype number and another number simultaneously • how to forward unanswered calls to your voicemail

How to forward all calls to a different number or voicemail

You can set Skype to forward all your Skype calls to a different number or to someone else in your team. In this case, the calls will no longer ring on your laptop/desktop but will forward onto the number you’ve selected.

1. In your Skype window, select Call forwarding

2. From the menu, pick Call Forwarding Settings 3. Turn off call forwarding is the default setting, when this option is selected all Skype calls will come

through to your laptop/desktop. If you don’t answer the call then Skype will follow your voicemail settings

4. Select Forward my calls to: and click on the drop-down arrow to select the number to forward calls to

5. Choose whether to forward all your calls to your voicemail or another number you’ve used below. You

can also choose to forward all calls to anyone you have set as a delegate or enter a new number or contact

and select OK

How to set Skype to call you on your Skype number and another number simultaneously

You can have Skype call you on your laptop/desktop and another number simultaneously. You can then answer the call using Skype with your headset on your laptop/desktop or by picking up the other phone.

1. In your Skype window, select Call forwarding

through to your laptop/desktop. If you don’t answer the call then Skype will follow your voicemail settings

4. Select Simultaneously ring: and click on the drop-down arrow

5. Choose whether to forward all your calls to your voicemail or another number you’ve used before. You

can also choose to forward all calls to anyone you have set as a delegate or enter a new number or

contact. Then select OK

How to forward unanswered calls to your voicemail

Skype will already be set to forward unanswered calls to your voicemail. This section covers how to customise those settings.

1. In your Skype window, select Call forwarding

2. From the menu, pick Call Forwarding Settings 3. Turn off call forwarding is the default setting, when this option is selected all Skype calls will come

through to your laptop/desktop. If you don’t answer the call then Skype will follow your voicemail settings

4. Under Unanswered calls will go to: Voice Mail in 15 seconds will be shown. Select this to change how

may seconds Skype calls your laptop/desktop before going to voicemail and select OK
