FORMER COMPANY UNIFORM

This is a photo of a most accomplished and proud past life experience, as an Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk. At my former workplace, ‘Five Star Watersports Limited’, where I worked from 2004 to 2011, I was required by my employer to wear a uniform which identifies and separates us, the employees from the employees of other companies. Wearing this uniform made me proud to represent an organization which was and still is a leader in its operations. Wearing my uniform to work each day reminded me of my belonging to a diligent, proficient team and my obligations to represent the company as professionally as possible, while expediting the responsibilities of my position.

CAP CERTIFICATION

 This photo of my Certified Administrative Professional Certification is a very proud accomplishment of mine. I love working in an office and belonging to the corporate world. Therefore, I took this certification course to build on my knowledge and develop my skills to work as an Administrative Professional. This is a certificate that has to be renewed every five years according to one’s continuous education, training and experiences as an Administrative Professional. Through this Certification, I am a more confident, educated and proficient Administrative Professional.

ACCA RESULTS

This photo of my Association of Chartered Certified Accounting (ACCA) results is one of my most proud accomplishments. After studying in College for 2 years I was not able to complete my Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) program with ACCA due to the some unforeseen events, but after graduating I took independent classes in order to complete it on my own. This was my final results letter from ACCA, stating that I had completed 7 out of 10 courses. Approximately, a year after receiving this results letter, I received a notice from ACCA stating that they are changing over to another system and I was exempted from taking the 3 remaining courses and I would be transferred to ACCA level 2. Taking these CAT courses improved my accounting knowledge and was a great experience, as some of the courses I passed by buying the textbook and teaching myself, without a professor.

CENTENNIAL COLLEGE

This Photo is of Centennial College, one of my most proud academic decisions. I began studying at Centennial College in January 2011 to complete a two year Business Accounting Post Secondary Diploma. During this time, I have learned and improved on my employability and my presentation skills. I have also learned a lot about Accounting, based Canadian practices and procedures. As an International Student, Centennial College is the base on which I will build my future here in Canada.

STUDY GROUP

Studying within a group help improve on study techniques and help increase a student’s ability to remember the contents or material of a particular course. This is a photo of my study group at Centennial College, we meet every week for approximately 6 to 10 hours to study or complete assignments. Studying in this group has helped me enhance my skills of working within a diverse group and achieving good grades in my courses through the ability to brainstorm with this dynamic, energetic brilliant group of people.
