Sloka offers cost-effective, easy-to-deploy
and easy-to-manage WiMAX fixed/nomadic
network solutions.
Sloka's WiMAX solutions enable network operators, WISPs
and service providers to roll out networks faster, cheaper and
easier. Our easy-to-install and easy-to-manage base stations
combined with our scaleable, robust and easy-to-configure
AAA and NMS systems come as ideal solutions whether you
are deploying a new network or evolving from an existing
network. This allows you to focus on providing 'completely
managed' networks that will maximize your revenues per
subscriber while reducing your capital and operating
expenditures.
Sloka's WiMAX Network Solution consists of Base Stations,
Subscriber Stations (CPE), AAA Server and an
NMS (Network Management System). Sloka's Base Stations
are compact and modular allowing the operator much
desired scalability. Sloka's NMS Solution manages the
complete WiMAX network including base stations, CPE
devices and subscriber databases.
Sloka provides reliable QoS (Quality of Service) for offering
triple-play services of Voice, Data, and Video.
Unique Architecture to make Base Stations
Sloka's patented and unique SDBS architecture allows in
making compact and low cost Base Stations weighing les
than 3 Kg with a volume less than 3 Liters. They can be
deployed as complete outdoor units connected by a sing
cable carrying both traffic and power.
This small footprint translates into lower facilities cost. In
addition, this innovative proven architecture provides for
flexible configuration, easy scalability, faster upgrades, a
robust performance.

Slokas Micro Base Stations are based on WiMAX OFDM / IEEE 802.16-2004 standards.
They transmit at 30dBm to the antenna. These units are ideal for far range and large
subscriber network deployments. They are all-outdoor, weatherproof, sealed units
for easy installation. Sloka 3300 MO and Sloka 3500 MO operate in 3.3-3.6 GHz while
Sloka 5800 MO operates in 5.8 GHz spectrum. They can be installed on towers, roof
tops, walls, etc. Any external antenna can be attached to these units through an
N type female connector. A Ethernet connection provides the connectivity to the
network and also provides the Power over Ethernet capability through a power
injector.
These units are deployed for Enterprise Data Access in urban environments, Voice
over IP, Cellular Backhaul and for residential internet and telephony access.
Micro Base Stations for WiMAX
Pico Base Stations for WiMAX
AAA and NMS for WiMAX
Slokas Pico Base Stations are based on WiMAX OFDM / IEEE 802.16-2004 standards.
They transmit at 21dBm to the antenna. These units are ideal for near range and
dense subscriber network deployments. They are all-outdoor, weatherproof, sealed
units for easy installation. Sloka 3300 OP and Sloka 3500 OP operate in 3.3-3.6 GHz
while Sloka 5800 OP operates in 5.8 GHz spectrum. They can be installed on towers,
roof tops, walls, etc. Any external antenna can be attached to these units through
an N type female connector. A Ethernet connection provides the connectivity to
the network and also provides the Power over Ethernet capability through a
power injector.
These units are deployed for Enterprise Data Access in urban environments, Voice
over IP, Cellular Backhaul and for residential internet and telephony access.
Sloka network management system (NMS) provides complete TMN functionalities
(Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance and Security). And Sloka
Authentication Authorization and Accounting (AAA) server provides completeSubscriber management system. The implementation is based on SNMP v2 protocol.
The plug-and-play capability developed by Sloka makes network installation and
commissioning simple and easy. Slokas open architecture allows easy integration
into any existing network management and billing systems of operators and service
providers. These software can be easily installed onto any PC or Server and highly
scaleable and robust making it easier for a service provider to manage and operate
a network.
