WHY I AM PROUD TO BE A SLOVAK AND EUROPEAN

I am the part of the European Union. When I was younger, I didn´t know what a big deal it was for Slovakia.Now, when I know, how powerful the European Union is, I can say, I am absolutely proud on being part of it. Being part of The European Union means to have a lot of opportunities to travel to other countries easily or opportunity to study or even work abroad. BARBARA

I was born in the Slovak republic so I am proud to live in this country. I like it here, and I think it is important. Good people live here and I am glad we do not have the war or other problems. Lukrécia

Why I am proud to be a Slovak? Not only because of the beautiful Slovak nature and but especially because of great people living in this country. I was born in the Czech republic, but I consider myself as a Slovak. Nikola

I am proud to be a European because Europe has big historical and cultural heritage. From Europe were the biggest scientists and researchers. I also like that it is advanced continent wich cares for human rights. KATKA


Because we have everything. From hot tropic to cold arctic weather. From new modern buildings to old medieval castles. LUCKA

I am proud, because it is great how the European union works. I mean I can study, travel wherever I want, and that is really awesome. Many people from another countries do not have opportunities like this. So I am really proud. NIKOLA

It isn´t really difficult to say why I am proud to be a Slovak because there is too much beauty in here. Also, many world´s inventors came from Slovakia. For example, Stefan Banic, who invented the prachute, then Jan Bahyl, who invented the helicopter or Jozef Murgas, who invented the apparatus for wireless telegraphy…BARBARA


European community is created from countries, and one of them is mine. I wish I could travel all the places in this continent, know interesting things about it, because Europe is amazing... LENKA

Slovakia is a really beautiful country. I love our nature and much more… Slovakia is full of historical monuments. There are fairy castles but also spooky ruins and it is so beautiful. In my country also live dear people with a good heart. I can say that I am really proud to be a Slovak. KATKA
