• Look at these equations:
Digital Divide= Rich + $
Digital Divide= Poor - $

Poor people – connection to outer world – further education.
• THAT is why Digital Divide is an important global issue.
• Many groups have been formed
• Money has been raised to provide schools and other groups or people with technologies like computer.
• Technology has been donated to the victims of the digital divide
Background Information• Uganda has a population of around 31,367,972
people
• Only 2,000,000 of these people are internet users
• That’s only 6.4% of Uganda's population leaving it as only 64th on Wikipedia's list of the worlds top internet users.

Our Short-Term Plan
• Raise awareness about our global issue by making posters and flyers.
• Organize fund-raising activities like a bake sale to donate to the organizations we chose
Our Long-Term Plan
• Donate the money we raise, and the computers we got to Inveneo.
• TRY to get volunteers from Uganda to teach them how to use the computers.
• After we improve the technology in a school located in Uganda we will move on to another school and so on.

• It could help Uganda communicate with the world
Why should you do something about this issue
• It is a global issue concerning us too
