Check power cord and ensure it is properly connected

Check black and white wire connection for no sound issue

Check USB connections from computer to SMART Board

Check USB connection from SMART Board to SBA-NA speaker

No status light on SMART Board

Check connections from computer to SMART Board and/or SBA-NA Speakers

Symptom ­ No light on SMART Board = No power or not enough power Fix ­ Make sure computer is on and USB cable is connected to computer and SMART BoardNote: If using SBA­NA speakers be sure speakers are connected to power outletSee illustration below

SMART Board set­up

Solid green light indicates SMART Board is functioning properly

Symptom ­ Flashing green light = Touch only, no use of pen tray or SMARTBoard toolsFix ­ Check control panel in SMART Notebook to ensuresoftware is running/Install SMART Board software

Check USB connections from computer to SMART Board

Try connecting USB direct from computer to SMART Board

Status light red on SMART Board

Check connections from computer to SMART Board and/or SBA-NA Speakers

Symptom ­ Steady red light = Board receiving power but is not communicating with your computer Fix ­ Check the connection to the computer/Reset the computer

SC9 control card

Reset button for SC9 control

Symptom - Solid or flashing amber status light Fix - Reset control card. If problem persists, the firmware may need to be reloaded into the flash memory. Flash the SC9 card

SBA-NA Serial number

SBA-NA Control speaker

Your SBA-NA serial numbers are located on the back of the control speaker you will need to disconnect the wires to see it

Pen Tray

When using any pen it's registering one particular color- Default setting have been adjusted/Go to SMART tools > Control Panel > SMART Board settings > Pen/Button settings

When customizing or changing default pen settings they work but when you shut down and restart they're no longer saved - Restricted rights/Have IT rep change pen and button profile to default or log in as ADMIN

Touch not accurate- the pointer does not appear directly below your finger - When you write on screen your writing appears at a slight distance from pen - Orient the interactive white board/Press and hold keyboard and right-click buttons on pen tray as same time

Pen Tray

Symptom - No lights show on pen tray = Pen tray not plugged in/defective pen tray cable/defective pen tray Fix - Plug in pen tray/try another pen tray cable

Symptom - Lights continuously cycle on pen tray = Pens are not placed in pen tray properlyFix - Verify pens are placed in tray properly

Replacing Lamp in UF45 projector

To reset the lamp hours you will need to hold down the up arrow 15 seconds until you hear the beep and hold the down arrow for 15 seconds until you hear the beep

You will need to reset the lamp hours once the lamp has been replaced. To reset the hours use the remote control and press the Down arrow once, the up arrow twice, the left arrow once and the up arrow once. This will bring you to the service menu, scroll down to the reset lamp hour option and press the enter button

Replacing Lamp in UF55 projector

Replacing Lamp in UX60Turn off the power by pressing the power button twice on the remote control or the ECP. Wait at least 30 minutes for the projector to cool down. Disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet. Pull the lamp cover forward and remove it from the projector. Put the lamp cover in a safe place.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two captive screws from the bottom of the lamp module. Use the handle on the bottom of the lamp module to slide out the lamp and remove it from the projector

You will need to reset the lamp hours once the lamp has been replaced. To reset the hours use the remote control and press the Down arrow once, the up arrow twice, the left arrow once and the up arrow once. This will bring you to the service menu, scroll down to the reset lamp hour option and press the enter button
