Intended UseThe Smart Control is a universal control and display device for JUNG Home Automation systems. The Smart Control operates as cli-ent with its applications together with various servers of JUNG Home Automation Systems (e.g. Facility Pilot, eNet Server). Additional services such as JUNG Weather Service and the connection to Siedle InHome-System with Smart Gateway are available for the user.

The usage of third-party apps is possible but not supported by JUNG. Please note the paragraph of this documenta-tion about the Google App Store.Mounting requires the flush-mounted box SC7EBG.

Orientation

The product can be installed horizontally or vertically. Only the illustrated installations with the design cover on the bottom or on the left side are possible. In delivery condition the product/visualisation is prepared for the horizontal installation, which can easily be changed via „Settings - General - Design selection“. Only in the horizontal installation the Android-Widgets can be displayed.

El producto puede instalarse en horizontal o en vertical. Solo son posibles las instalaciones ilustradas con la cubierta de diseño en la parte inferior o en la izquierda. En estado de entrega el producto / visualización está preparado para la instalación en horizontal, lo que puede cambi-arse fácilmente en „Ajustes - General - Selección de diseño“. Los widgets para Android solo se visualizan en la instalación en horizontal.

First Access

At the first start of SMART CONTROL the JUNG LAUNCHER is started.The JUNG LAUNCHER is the main menu of SMART CONTROL. It shows a simple grid of 9 fields that allow a quick access to the most important apps. The JUNG LAUNCHER also offers various settings which are accessible by clicking on the JUNG logo in the upper bar. The default password for the access of those settings is “0000”. This password can be changed in the menu “System”. By deleting all signs the password protection is deactivated.

Primer acceso

Al iniciar por primera vez el SMART CONTROL, se inicia el JUNG LAUNCHER.El JUNG LAUNCHER es el menú principal de SMART CONTROL. Muestra una matriz simple con 9 campos para acceder rápidamente a las aplicaciones más importantes. El JUNG LAUN-CHER también ofrece varios ajustes a los que acceder haciendo clic en el logotipo JUNG de la barra superior. La contraseña por defecto para acceder a estos ajustes es „0000“. Esta contra-seña puede modificarse en el menú „Sistema“. La protección por contraseña se desactiva cuando se eliminan todos los signos.

To select the required language you have to go to the setting menu “General/Design Settings – Select Language”.

Via a long push on an app icon you get access to the app selection. After the first ac-cess you get the possibility to register at the Google-Play-Store via your JUNG Account. Please simply press “OK” and follow the instructions. You can use an already existing JUNG Account or you can register new. After activation of the device ID the Goog-le-Play-Store is accessible.

Caution:Please consider to the notes of the „Informati-on App Store“.

Para seleccionar el idioma deseado vaya al menú de ajustes „General/Ajustes de diseño – Seleccionar idioma“.

Pulsando de forma prolongada en el icono de aplicación accederá a la selección de aplicación. Después de acceder por primera vez, puede registrarse en Google Play Store a través de su cuenta JUNG. Pulse „Aceptar“ y siga las instrucciones. Puede utilizar una cuenta JUNG ya existente o puede registrar una nueva. Tras activar el ID del dispositivo, se accede a Google Play Store.

Atención:Por favor, tenga en cuenta las indicaciones de la „Información sobre App Store“.

Pre-installed Apps

Besides the JUNG LAUNCHER, also other apps are present on SMART CONTROL at delivery. Beside the standard apps of Android you will also find the Google- App-Store (after activation of device ID) and the proprietary JUNG apps eNet Home, Jung eNet App, Faci-lity-Pilot and Door Communication.Note to eNet app: after starting the app, the menu button at the bottom right has to be pushed to get the possibility to edit the IP address of the eNet Server.

Recovery - (factory reset)

In order to reset the SMART CONTROL to factory settings, clearing all kind of user data (like settings, installed apps, Google accounts etc.), you can use the pre-installed app „Sys-tem Update“. After starting this app, you can either update your SMART CONTROL using a special file or you can reset the device to factory settings. By selecting the last option the device will automatically reboot, execute the reset and start with the factory settings.

Recuperación - (restablecimiento de fábrica)

Para restablecer el SMART CONTROL a los ajustes de fábrica y borrar todo tipo de datos de usuario (como ajustes, aplicaciones instaladas, cuentas Google, etc.), pude utilizar la aplicación preinstalada „Actualización del sistema“. Des-pués de iniciar esta aplicación, puede actualizar su SMART CONTROL mediante un archivo especial o restablecer el dispositivo a los ajustes de fábrica. Si selecciona la última opción, el dis-positivo se reiniciará automáticamente, ejecutará el restablecimiento y se iniciará con los ajustes de fábrica.

Update

To update the SMART CONTROL please use the pre-installed System Update app and confirm the button “check for updates online”. If an update is available, you receive a message which has to be confirmed with “OK”. Now the update-file will be downloaded. After successful download a new message appears which has to be confirmed as well. The SMART CONTROL is rebooted once and the latest version is activated.By selection of the first option an update of the installed software is possible via USB. If JUNG releases a new version it is offered as a file called „Update.zip“. In the System Up-date app this file can be selected and started, afterwards it will start with the new version.

Actualización

Para actualizar el SMART CONTROL utilice la aplicación de actualización de sistema preinstalada y confirme con el botón „comprobar actualizaciones online“. Cuando hay disponib-le una actualización, recibirá un mensaje que tendrá que confirmar con „Aceptar“. Entonces se descargará el archivo de actualización. Una vez que se ha descargado correctamente, aparece un mensaje nuevo que también hay que confir-mar. El SMART CONTROL se reinicia una vez y se activa la versión actualizada.Si se selecciona la primera opción, se puede actualizar el software instalado mediante USB. Si JUNG presenta una versión nueva, se ofrece en forma de archivo denominado „Update.zip“. En la aplicación de actualización de sistema se puede seleccionar e iniciar este archivo, a conti-nuación se iniciará con la nueva versión.

Information App Store

The App Store of Google can be activated at the SMART CONTROL, which can be used to obtain numerous apps of different manufactu-rers. Take care, that the function and security is warrant to the SMART CONTROL by using the App Store.

Attention:Please take care to install only apps which are not influencing the basic functionality of the Smart Control. Also take care that the device stays secure by using the App Store. JUNG cannot guarantee that external apps are working on the Smart Control. A non-fun-ctional app from a third party is no reason for any complaint.Details on the first steps with the Google App Store can be found on the following web page:http://support.google.com/googleplay/?hl=de

Notes regarding the use on SMART CONTROL:1. The App Store requires an active internet connection. If SMART CONTROL is used wi-thout internet access, the App Store is either automatically hidden or shows a correspon-ding warning message.2. In order to be able to use the App Sto-re, you have to check that your SMART CONTROL shows the correct date and time settings. If these settings are not correct, the App Store cannot connect to its servers and will show no contents. The time/date settings can be configured through the settings page of the JUNG LAUNCHER.3. In case no app download should be possib-le, please empty the cache of the App Store through the settings of the JUNG LAUNCHER (System - Manage Applications - All - Google App Store). 4. Please take care that you will not be able to install all apps on the App Store on SMART CONTROL. The App Store is filtering apps according to certain criteria (for example display size, permissions, additional functions like gravity sensor, GPS, phone etc.). If a device doesn’t support a required criterion, the app will not be shown on App Store. So if you shouldn’t be able to see an app on SMART CONTROL that on your smartphone is visualised normally, it could be that one of
