TAA-derivativesEvonik�produces�a�range�of�reactive�TAA-derivatives�which�are�used�as�efficient,�long-time�stabilizers.�By�preventing�degradation�by�radicals�TAA-derivatives�maintain�product�quality.�

Synthetic waxesThe�VESTOWAX®�product�range�covers�a�series�of�synthetic�waxes��(polyethylene,�Fischer-Tropsch,�EVA�copolymer�and�modified�polypropylene�waxes)�with�a�broad�spectrum�of�applications.�VESTOWAX®�meets�specific�quality�requirements�and�ensures�an�optimum�profile�of�properties�of�the�respective�end�products:�in�printing�inks�VESTOWAX®�leads�to�increased�abrasion�resistance,�in�varnishes�the�products�improve�the�scratch�resistance�of�the�surface.

Carbon�Black�Pigments�(PRINTEX®,�NEROX®,�Special�Black,�Colour�Black)�are�produced�throughout�the�world�in�seven�carbon�black�plants�and�Evonik�supplies�gas-,�furnace-,�and�lamp�blacks.�

In�the�gas�black�process,�a�hydrogen�containing�carrier�gas�is�pumped�over�hot�creosote�and�burned�incompletely�by�numer-ous�small�flames.�The�Carbon�Black�Pigments�produced�by�this�process�feature�excellent�fineness�and�a�very�narrow�particle�size�distri�bution.

In�the�furnace�black�process,�the�liquid�raw�material�is�fed�through�nozzles�into�a�flame�of�hot�air�and�natural�gas�and�degraded�by�thermal�oxidation�at�high�temperatures.�The�properties�of�the�Carbon�Black�Pigments�formed�can�be�controlled�by�quenching.�The�furnace�black�process�features�a�wide�range�of�variations�with�regard�to�the�raw�materials�used�and�the�properties�of�the�Carbon�Black�Pigments.

Carbon�Black�Pigments�obtained�by�the�lamp�black�process�are�unrivalled�for�some�fields�of�application.�Lamp�blacks�feature�large�primary�particle,�a�wide�primary�particle�distribution�and�hence�low�agglo�meration�and�high�tamped�densities.
