NOTESFor the occasion of New York Fashion Week, on September 10, 2014,
Swissnex (Consulate of Switzerland) held a wearable technology lecture series and private party.
I was invited to speak. I chose to use this opportunity to take my company out of stealth
and reveal our first product, SMART JEWEL. I was joined by KOPIN.

But first I’m going to talk to you for a moment about Smart Glasses & Smart Watches.
And I’m going to start by saying a few things about New York & Silicon Valley.

Or as I like to think of it, the tech industry’s first attempt at fashionable wearable tech.
A half century later and there is still a lot of room for improvement.

NOTESIf you only keep an eye on one thing in Smart Glasses, watch KOPIN. Their PUPIL DISPLAY is the
world’s smallest micro-display & smallest optics module. It has the highest resolution for its size, the
lowest power consumption and the brightest display in its class. Samples available to the market in
Q4 of this year — and they have joined me here today … but I’m not making a pair of Smart Glasses.

Claude regarding any industry threat, and you should too … but I’m not making a Smart Watch.
