What is PSBA?

The PSBA co-location facility
Final commercial arrangements still pending. Subject to satisfactory resolution:
• 60 racks
• Connected to PSBA Network (so to all public sector offices)
• 7.3Kw per rack
• n+1 resilient power
• n+1 resilience for cooling
• Security– Internal secure shell (Modusec by Remtec)
– CC TV and 24hr staffed facility
– Electronic access control – room and rack
• Power usage effectiveness (PUE) target under 1.5– Free cooler unit (starts to reduce burden at 19˚, free under 7˚)
– Hot air containment (full segregation and brush strips and blanking panels)
– Settings: inlet temperature 24˚
