I am CELTA qualified to teach non-English speakers. Building on existing strengths, and addressing underlying vocal, physical and anxiety issues, I create a personal learning plan specified to the individual’s needs, either in person or by Skype. Situations addressed might include: Presentations and meetings Conference speaking Webinars and online interview technique Stage fright and specific vocal issues Non-English speakers – language accuracy and cultural transition. I have previously taught interview and presentation technique at Ravensbourne College and at Guildford School of Acting in: Audition Skills, Textual Strategy and Commercial Television Acting at Master’s level. The Council of Drama Schools and the Learning Skills Council commissioned me to create and deliver a programme identifying and developing BAME youth, preparing them for Drama school audition, with 100% success. I also innovated and taught a government intervention in North London primary schools focusing on verbal literacy, vocal inflection and body language. I am in demand as a director of commercial TV castings, especially involving non-actors. I am currently training as an examiner in Speech, presentation and performance for New Era Academy. I also offer one to one preparation for Drama School audition.
