The medical marijuana community has been coming up with new ways to ingest marijuana for years. One of the trendiest ways of today is to make food, or "edibles," such as brownies, cookies or candy. The problem that is coming up about edibles is that they are not regulated such as medical marijuana is, and therefore are not accurately labeled. Some products will be labeled 2 mg, when in reality it has 1000 mg. The best way to find out if a clinic is accurately labeling edibles is to ask questions, go in and talk to the clinic, and ask current clients of the clinic if their dosages seem to be consistent.Another trendy way that has recently come out is to use a vaporizer, and inhale from the device. It prevents one from inhaling the smoke.

Of course, as everyone knows, the most common way to ingest marijuana is to smoke it. Medical marijuana clinics usually offer something called "pre-rolls," which is where they already have the joints or blunts rolled up for purchase. Another common form is to use some sort of smoking device, such as a pipe or a water bong.

There is also a new way to ingest THC that people have been popularizing, usually by musicians. It is called "dabbing," and it is when one smokes THC-rich resins. There are 3 different forms of these resins. One is hash or honey oil, and it is a gooey liquid, another is wax or budder, which is a soft form, kind of like lip balm, and the last is called shatter, which is a hard, amber-colored solid. When "dabbing," one must be extremely careful, since it has an extremely large amount of THC in them, and sometimes people are not aware of just how much they are ingesting.
