• This project proposes a method of building an extendable generic

application which can be used to provide email facility using mobile SMS as well as SMS alert on receiving any

Current Scenario • SMS – Fast and simplest way for local

and national communication

• Email – Fastest means of

communication for local, national and international communication

• Email requires active internet

connection on your smart phone, laptop desktop etc.

• In India, many people are out of reach of internet

• What if you have to send an email while travelling and you do not have a

smart phone or laptop or active internet connection.

SMS TO EMAIL CONVERTER

Proposed Solution • The solution is to link the email and

SMS facility

• User can send an email without having access to internet through SMS

• User will send a SMS in required format to an SMS Application

• SMS Application will interpret the message and checks the validity of SMS and forwards it to SMS Parser

• The parser will decode the SMS and convert it into required Email format

and send it to Email application

• The email application will send the email to the respective recipient.
