Torque

Torque • It is a program that is necessary for a variety of industries including

transportation, aviation, manufacturing, and wind generators.• In industries such as aviation and wind generators, it is the last step

of quality control. • Many technicians learn the basic use of a torque key but not the

applications thus performing wrong procedures.• This training is designed to learn the correct use of the torque key

as well as its application in screws and nuts as well as to learn at what moment a replacement is necessary.

• With this certification, the students will learn how lubricants, sealants, and other products are affected with the torsion applied.

Wheels Service • This equipment is the more advanced for wheels service. • This certifications provides the student knowledge on the

proper use of the equipment to provide a complete service to the wheel.

• It is one of the most offered services in repair workshops and offers employment advantage for our students, because they graduate with the knowledge on the use of these equipments from replacing a wheel, balancing it, and align them.

• It is an additional specialized certification provided to the student by Mech-Tech and Snap-on.

Tool Control

Tool Control• It is a program originally used by NASA and the Armed Forces to

prevent FOD (Forget Object Damage) which costs millions of dollars a year.

• The program was modified to be applicable to a limited number of applications such as tool control.

• It provides quality control to equipment, tools, or personnel.• Maintains perpetual inventory of consumables. • Workshops spend a lot of money in tools that get lost while repairing

cars as well as causing delays in tool repairs that, when used, are not in good condition thus having to replace or re-condition it to be able to finish a repair. The use of the tool control program can save money to a workshop.
