The impact ofFirst Day of Holiday Club
Early days of the church, meetingunder the trees
Double garage they have built asa venue to meet in
LaLast year, Hendrika attended our Holiday Club training for under-resourced churches. Not too
long after that she spotted children from the informal settlement of Wallmansthal who had
stolen potatoes from a nearby farm. She felt she needed to do something. So she approached
them and told them about Holiday Club and they made a date there and then. She ran her
first Holiday Club starting with 15 children. Wondering what she would do after the week had
finished, she decided to start a church in this community where there was no church at all.
She currently pastor the church of 30 adult members.
A spaA spark of light and hope in a community has began, from a Holiday Club and a faithful serv-
ant! Praise be to God.
This is our first confirmed venue for our Trailer Ministry team this year, where we aim to
stand alongside this church and equip them, as we run a Holiday Club together as well as
sport and community ministry. We are expecting great things. To get involved in this life

Shaun - " A week that was worth me getting out of bed at 5AM each morning!"
Christine: " About this time last week I was given the greatest blessing to read theb ible from beginning to end and because of it my life will never be the same. A cahnged heart, a re-newed spirit, hope and overwhelming love and gratitude for my maker".
Jason - “Life Changing.
Question answering, exciting
experience.”
Charne' - It was life chang-ing in my spiritual walk with God.
Alex - " I found the bible is the greatest love letter ever writ-ten"

AT TUKS SERRIE PRELIMSThis past Monday & Tuesday evenings saw the Red Frog crew serving at Taaibos and Asterhof Res, as residences travelled from ‘res to ’res performing. Over the two nights, 2200 pan-cakes, 750 bottles of water, coffee, and 8kg’s of Red Frogs sweets were handed out to hungry, thirsty, sweaty students. The ‘Frogs are always amazed at how grateful the students are for what we do. “You guys saved me life at VAC” is by far the most common phrase heard at the Red Frogs tent.
