Sneaky Effects of Subliminal Advertisements http://www.SecretOfMindPower.com Welcome to the not-so secret world of subliminal advertisements. Have you always found yourself craving for a meaty pizza with extra cheese while watching your favorite NBA team play? How about just sitting on your couch, enjoying a game of football on TV and suddenly yearning for a bottle of ice-cold beer? If you answered yes, then you have been duped by one of the most cautiously created television commercials today. Normally, you would think that it was the attractive mascot that made you crave for the pizza, but chances are you may have caught a quick glimpse of somebody helping himself with a slice of pizza, or heard of food being mentioned while you were watching the game. This is how it works. First, an unrelated medium is used to introduce a message to you. Then, these messages are passed on to your mind’s perception below its normal limits. Finally, after your psyche registers these subliminal suggestions, your brain is now compelled to take future action. A commercial may seem as simple as a promotion for a particular product and brand, but just like our pizza example, it can also have hidden messages. Possibly, they can flash a quick image of a couple of breadsticks or a liter of soda. Or during a beer commercial you get a quick glimpse of a big bucket of ice. These subtle extras can surprisingly turn one layer of pizza or a bottle of beer into an expensive ordeal when you suddenly feel the need to buy more. Although, with the multitudes of marketing strategies today, the television commercials is actually the last place where subliminal advertisements are needed. These kinds of advertisements are a bit harder to find on magazines and newspapers, where the use of subliminal pictures has become the most popular way for companies to promote their products. You might have noticed companies or manufacturers of alcoholic beverages using beautiful women in bikinis as their primary models. Along with the feeling drunkenness seems to be a predictable relation to sex and provocation. In many ways, these symbols have worked well for the companies and have increased their sales in multiple folds. The same with cigarette advertisements, you would also notice that men and women are often seen passing a stick or two to one person, as if sharing the same vices and addictions. Because of these highly creative ways to induce subliminal messages to TV advertisements, it’s became easier for different products to get their messages and reminders across. In some ways, however, the process also welcomed abusers from different sectors of media and other industries. It cannot be helped that some messages may be misinterpreted if not delivered effectively to the public.

Welcome to the not-so secret world of subliminal advertisements. Have you always found

yourself craving for a meaty pizza with extra cheese while watching your favorite NBA team

play? How about just sitting on your couch, enjoying a game of football on TV and suddenly

yearning for a bottle of ice-cold beer? If you answered yes, then you have been duped by one of

the most cautiously created television commercials today. Normally, you would think that it was

the attractive mascot that made you crave for the pizza, but chances are you may have caught a

quick glimpse of somebody helping himself with a slice of pizza, or heard of food being

mentioned while you were watching the game.

This is how it works. First, an unrelated medium is used to introduce a message to you. Then,

these messages are passed on to your mind’s perception below its normal limits. Finally, after

your psyche registers these subliminal suggestions, your brain is now compelled to take future

action. A commercial may seem as simple as a promotion for a particular product and brand, but

just like our pizza example, it can also have hidden messages. Possibly, they can flash a quick

image of a couple of breadsticks or a liter of soda. Or during a beer commercial you get a quick

glimpse of a big bucket of ice. These subtle extras can surprisingly turn one layer of pizza or a

bottle of beer into an expensive ordeal when you suddenly feel the need to buy more.

Although, with the multitudes of marketing strategies today, the television commercials is

actually the last place where subliminal advertisements are needed. These kinds of

advertisements are a bit harder to find on magazines and newspapers, where the use of

subliminal pictures has become the most popular way for companies to promote their products.

You might have noticed companies or manufacturers of alcoholic beverages using beautiful

women in bikinis as their primary models. Along with the feeling drunkenness seems to be a

predictable relation to sex and provocation. In many ways, these symbols have worked well for

the companies and have increased their sales in multiple folds. The same with cigarette

advertisements, you would also notice that men and women are often seen passing a stick or two

to one person, as if sharing the same vices and addictions.

Because of these highly creative ways to induce subliminal messages to TV advertisements, it’s

became easier for different products to get their messages and reminders across. In some ways,

however, the process also welcomed abusers from different sectors of media and other industries.

It cannot be helped that some messages may be misinterpreted if not delivered effectively to the

public.
